Suncrest Structures I was always a bit of a mischievous kid. In school, I often skipped out on lectures and went to watch movies. I was never focused with definite goals in my head like many of my friends. After I managed to complete schooling, my dad wanted me to get a government job back #home. However it never excited me, the whole idea of doing reports and paper work and living the same life every single day gave me the chills. One day, a friend told me about a hotel management course, and of course spoke about only the glittery parts.
Well his words and stories worked on me, and I got so excited that I decided this was what I wanted. But reality sunk in. Suddenly, I was a college educated man, being asked to peel off thousands of garlic cloves or clear heavy trays out of the restaurant and many more tasks which required no skill or any educational degree to complete.
It was then when I realised that life doesn't get served to us on a platter. Cleaning the WC's helped give me perspective. Seeing the staff smiling while handling complaints helped me learn how to be skilful. Working long hours with no breaks helped me challenge my physical and mental strength.
